The Original Big 7 Social Aid & Pleasure Club have operated in the 7th Ward of New Orleans since 1996. As a community organization, we pride ourselves in being able to connect through our community with our members, neighbors and community partners.

The social groups and clubs of New Orleans are a vital part of its’ neighborhoods. We offer support to our members, opportunity to our youth and a common ground for all community members to come together.

It is our mission to preserve, protect and promote the culture of Social Aid & Pleasure Clubs to keep what makes our great city unique.

Through our youth programs, we give kids a safe place where they can partake learn, grow and stay out of trouble. It is our goal to not only give them a fun alternative to an after school activity but to also teach them skills and give them a group to be apart of.

Our Annual Mother’s Day Community Secondline employs local musicians and organizers and gives our neighbors a fun place to gather and celebrate one another.
